Life Skillz, is a great program that teaches children and young teenagers important skills that every person should know. From learning how to change a tire, start a fire, tying knots, basic sailing, healthy foods, self defense, applying a splint, to applying a tourniquet, is just a few things that Life Skillz provides, and teaches.

It can be hard for our youth, especially during these times, to be inspired by something greater than themselves. Best way to do that is showing them something worth believing in and fighting for!
It was truly a blessing to witness our future generation being influenced and inspired by the incredible men and women who protect and serve us everyday! Definitely, looking forward to my daughter coming back again, she had a blast!
My Summer Camp by Scarlet,
During the summer I went to LIFE SKILLZ camp. On the first day we went to visit the service dogs and walk them. I got to walk a black dog but I do not remember her name but it is a girl. We got to go inside an ambulance and go to visit the SWAT Team. We even got to go to the CoastGuard. We learned cast fishing and we got to drive a CoastGuard boat and go sailing. I don't remember what day it was but we went to archery camp and I got my first bow. And I even learned how to start a fire with a flint striker. My favorite thing was going to archery camp and getting my very own bow.

I am writing to express my immense gratitude for the incredible experience my child had at the Life Skillz camp. The program not only provided an enriching environment for learning essential life skills but also instilled values of respect and gratitude, revolving around a strong foundation in faith.

One of the standout aspects of the camp was the diverse range of activities that went far beyond the conventional summer programs. From sailing on the coast guard boat to understanding the intricacies of a rescue boat, my child had the unique opportunity to explore aspects of life not typically covered in school or basic summer camps.

The hands-on experiences were both educational and thrilling, allowing the children to broaden their horizons and develop practical skills. The visit to the police station, learning to read a compass and map, and mastering the art of starting a fire were just a few of the many highlights that stood out.

Moreover, the camp's emphasis on safety was truly commendable. Teaching the kids how to throw a cast net, demonstrating the importance of eating clean, and providing insights on how to safely break out of a car were invaluable lessons that could potentially save lives. The inclusion of K9 for service added an extra layer of understanding and appreciation for the importance of service animals in various capacities.
